There is nothing like reading a book where it tells you how it will end, and you still have a small glimmer of hope that it won’t happen. Well folks, that glimmer went out and now it’s just darkness.

There is also nothing like reading a books where they both die at the end and the first sentence of the acknowledgment is: “I survived writing another book”. Not ok man. Very low.

This book reminds me of a bowl of freshly cooked pasta, lathered in butter with a hint of pepper on top that adds a little bit of a zing with every bite but not so delicious to crave seconds.

A sweet and sad story that I didn't want to end

Honest question; did we all read the same book? Or did I get a false copy of this? Because I do not see the appeal in this one bit.

The idea behind this is brilliant, I have to say, but the execution was lackluster. For a world that relies so heavily on a seemingly thought out system of controlling the human population, there was little to no world-building. Only "you get a call, you die", which honestly wasn't enough.

I did not care for the characters, therefore did not care for the story or the romance.
The writing style wasn't for me either. It was very matter of fact, no emotion, which made it feel very sloppy and thrown out.

Do not ask me what this was about. I cannot tell you a single thing.
