descriptionThis author always has fantastic covers for her books and this one is no different. Great representation of the hero. Great use of graphics. Good composition and simple yet effective typography.description

descriptionWhat can I say about this one other than it was an incredibly good read. It was well written and nicely paced. It was sweet. It had angst. It had no OW/OM drama. It had great secondary characters (even a few glimpses of characters from past books). It had smokin' sex scenes. It had a sweet and totally charming heroine. It had an equally likable and hot hero. All wrapped up with a cherry on top epilogue.

It was ALMOST a 5-Star read for me. Alas, it did suffer (a lot) from one of my pet peeves. The constant comparisons to other women or exes. This book was RIFE with that. I don't think we could go more than a few pages without Ryder making a comparison to how it was with OW or Scarlett comparing it to her ex-husband. I thought to myself if this had been one of those drinking games where someone had to take a shot every time one of them compared something to one of his OW or her EX I would have been drunk under the table half way through this book!

Like I said though that is just a personal annoyance for me and it just made me roll my eyes more than anything. It was still an amazingly good book despite that. So two thumbs up from yours truly.description

Another great one

Louise Bay always brings the heat, sexual chemistry, and good love story! Loved Ryder and Scarlet chemistry. It was off the charts.

Louise Bay gives us another great addition to this series. I loved Ryder and Scarlett. This author always writes a terrific story line and delivers complex characters that the readers love. Her stories grab the reader and keep them engaged until the very last page. Ryder is a very swoon worthy hero who has a great personality and can be both romantic and cheesy at the same time. Scarlett has a bit of baggage but it was fun watching her blossom in her relationship with Ryder. Of course it wouldn't be a Louise Bay story if there weren't some hurdles these characters have to overcome but I think readers will fall in love with these characters and enjoy this story.

Best one in the series so far. I loved the marriage of conscience and the Duke was honestly the best character in the book and knowing exactly when to speak up. I loved how explosive their relationship was and the dynamic they had in the bedroom and in the boardroom. It really showed how much Ryder respected Scarlett as a business woman. Though every romance always has a conflict, I felt like this one was actually relatively believable with how the story went. Happy I read it and hopefully will get to more in this series in the near future.

Audiobook - Audible Included

I thought this was adorable. So glad it had Shane East as a narrator. I love listening to him read, I could listen to him read a text book. That would probably help with studying radiography......

Fake relationship/marriage is not my favorite trope but I loved it here! Very little resistance on both sides, which is usually the part I hate.

Also the spice and dirty talking was pretty damn good.

What's hotter than Louise Bay book boyfriend? A Louise Bay British book boyfriend. Hot, hot, hot.

I wasn't quite sure how Bay was going to wow me after reading so many of her books now, but as always she does not disappoint. Another character spun off from the King of Wall Street, we have Scarlett. A recently divorced woman working her way back into the dating scene. She's had some good dates, but nothing to build a relationship on. A chance encounter with a dashing man in a bar leads to what she thought would be a one night stand that would help her leave her failed marriage behind her and ready to take on the next stage of her life. While trying to hold on to the one thing she holds dear, her company, she winds up meeting back up with the dashing Brit, Ryder, that she thought she'd never see again. Both have their reasons on why they need each other, and join to start a new adventure. One that neither thought that they would ever start.

This book has it all. Two strong leads and it's written in dual alternating POV. There's visits with characters from King of Wall Street and Park Avenue Prince. Dirty talking alpha and did I mention the best part... he's British. Swoon. Scarlett is confident and strong and a likable heroine. And while there's some angst, it's not torturous. It ends great, yet leaves me wanting more. I don't think I'll ever get enough of Ryder, much like I was left wanting more Sam after Park Avenue Prince.
