I literally got chills from reading this children's picture book. Not what you expect. I guarantee it.

Cute children's picture book about a girl named Penny. Penny's mom works for the Potus, which Penny imagine to be a big fuzzy blue monster in a suit.

This is a fun look into the white house. Penny doesn't understand the word POTUS and is imagining all kinds of things about what a POTUS might be. This will be a fun one to have on hand this fall.

Penny's mom works at the White House, one of the coolest places in America. Penny is excited to go to work with her mom but, she is super excited to meet POTUS. Penny imagines the amazing life of Potus. Great book about POTUS and introduction to politics

Also good for different ideas/mental images/perspectives.

A cute book. Timely this fall, but could be used anytime. Might push students to thunk about perspective, misunderstandings, making assumptions.
