I devoured this book. It was so easy to read, and you get such a great idea about the main characters flaws and what's going on inside her head. I liked the almost vignette style and the flash backs within them had a flow that worked for me (but I could see why it might not work for everyone).

Really heartwarming and funny and sadly relatable. Well written and compelling story and narrator. Maybe it wrapped up a bit too quickly at the end?

Captivating writing, and such an honest representation of someone struggling with mental health and the scale of humanity and our suffering. And somehow also funny? Very, very clever book.

Absolutely loved this book. I picked it up at random but it really blew me away. The story telling is so realistic yet has a dash of mysticism in there. It’s an intense read if you’ve ever had mental health struggles but worth it.

As someone with OCD, how she writes this experience is refreshing and I feel understood by this novel.
"'I can't muster the energy required to be a positive part of anyone's life. I can't even muster the energy to apologize for that."
