I really enjoyed the premise of this book; an enemies to lovers reverse harem with a rock band on tour, HEAVY on the bully trope. It was hot, fun, and full of angst, yet had a lot of emotional factors too.

This book was a slow, slow burn. The bully cycle was on rinse and repeat, and they had miscommunications galore. Keeping up with this crew's hot and cold tension gave me some serious whiplash, but I knew what I signed up for.

Each of the three men were different enough in personalities and their individual relationships with the FMC, but I still found myself having to double check halfway through each chapter to remind myself whose POV I was reading.

I also found that the synesthesia was a little much sometimes. I totally understand it's role in the story, but it was mentioned so much it was hammered to death rather than just into your head.

dnf at around 72% mainly cause I couldn't get over a s***al scene. It was an ick I didn't know I had. Disappointed by how much plot was in there if I'm being honest.

Why I wasn’t thrown into a rockstar life like Braxton has me a bit depressed. Cue That Should Be Me by Justin Bieber.

Honestly, I was a bit intimidated going into this book mainly because it was sooo long but I did end up really enjoying it. It did start off a bit slow and I was slightly confused in the beginning but once the story got going I was super into it.

I wish I had 3 hot rockstars trying to get with me. I really liked that I could tell the difference between the 3 men. You could clearly get the vibes of the 3 of them. And I oh so loved when they fucked up. Braxton has way more will than me because the way they try to make up to her every time, I would’ve given up within the first hour.

Now I know I said it was long but I almost wish it was longer. There were periods where a week or even a month or so would pass and we wouldn’t read any of it. Like nothing of importance happened during that time??? And really this is more a compliment to BB because I was loving the characters so much that I just wanted more interactions.

Let’s talk plot. We don’t know her here. Like Braxton is now part of this band and the band has conflict but that’s honestly it. That and sexual tension. The sexual tension was the big plot and then it gets a bit messy and wild towards the end which I loved.

Speaking of the tension. The spicy scenes were chef’s kiss and I lowkey wish there were more. Now I don’t know if I’m not remembering this correctly but was there never a group scene with all the guys and her??? Hmm I must need to go reread it to double-check.

There was one particular plot point involving Braxton and her “addiction” that I highkey just found funny and actually laughed out loud when the scene happened. I honestly thought she was joking but no she was serious. So quarter points off for that because what even was that.

Now I don’t have any religious trauma, while I am from a small town similar to Braxton, my family wasn’t involved with the church at all so I can’t relate. However, the trauma that Braxton has might hit home for some people.

Anyways, if you’re looking for a rockstar romance, bully vibes, reverse harem, and a plot that is made of sexual angst… this is the book for you.
