Ok, as this series continues I am getting pulled in. The mystery behind the Demi-humans is fascinating and Sakurai is developing what appears to be an pretty intricate world, filled with factions all vying for demi-human stuff.

I think probably the biggest strength so far is how the series builds up tension and horror thru effective dialogue, slower pacing, that explodes into high action scenes.
