A lovely comic that explores being trans in a way I haven’t seen before—through the perspectives of both halves of a couple as one of them struggles with their identity and eventually comes out. The book is very honest with how scary and confusing such a change is, for both of them, and is open about the ways they each originally avoided the truth out of fear and later worked to address and accept it together. I also liked how much the book discussed the different ways they both moved through the world after the transition, how they were treated, and especially how other people would apply traditional female stereotypes to Diana once others could “see” her as a woman.

Absolutely loved this comic! Great read if you know and love a trans person, or even just want more perspective on their journey. Funny, sweet, and so relatable!

i dont regret a thing.
perfectly harmless autobiographical graphic novel abt the author and her partners queer journeys. nothing spectacular. very simple and sweet but not much else
was drawn in by the gorgeous cover art only for everything within to be a very tumblr / cartoony style instead?? not sure why but i was a little disappointed
