Screaming. Crying. Why haven’t I read this sooner?? Holy shit, this pulled at my heartstrings so hard. This one hurt.

Kristin Hannah is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her characters have so much dimension and the plot has so many relatable events and situations which makes the characters very likable and relatable.

This story will absolutely not be for everyone. It has a lot of cliches and Tully, one of our FMCs, can be very frustrating at times. The friendship can be hard and something that needs work, but I also feel like a lot of friendships can be like that.. you have to work at them. It also highlights the importance of communication and forgiveness between friends.

As someone currently fighting the same battle as Katie, this was extraordinarily hard for me to read and I absolutely cried so deeply at the end. I see my current self in Katie a lot. As a mom, as a fighter. It was hard. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.

As someone who watched the Netflix show, I loved the book just as much as the show and would absolutely recommend the audiobook. The narration was absolutely outstanding and added so much depth to the characters and their depth.

I would absolutely recommend this - especially if you want a book that will evoke a lot of emotion.

Alright, I was ready not to like this because I didn’t vibe with the show—which I’m going to check out, again, after reading this—but I loved it. I felt jealous and fulfilled along with Kate, empty and lonely with Tully, loved by Mrs. and Mr. M, disappointed with Cloud, and devastated with Johnny.

This book was everything. I can’t wait for the series.

I wish I had a Tully.
