Great writing and very suspenseful. I gave it a four star rating. After reading the book I'm not very surprised with the plot as it was a pretty standard detective novel, but still very enjoyable and I personally only vaguely saw the ending coming.

🇳🇱: Dit boek was echt verassend goed. Ik heb deze ooit gekocht in de bieb en ik heb hem sinsdien in de kast liggen. Het boek is heel goed geschreven en mijn aandacht bleef er goed bij. Het verhaal heeft verschillende plot twists en elke vermoedelijke dader had een goed motief om de moord eventueel te plegen. Ook vond ik het leuk dat je naarmate het verhaal vorderd je verder achter het leven van de hoofdpersoon komt! Het einde vond ik ook echt heel spannend. De moordenaar had ik half aan zien komen en half niet.

🇬🇧: this book was suprising. I bought it in the library once and since then it has been laying on my bookshelf. The book has been written very well and my attention was drawn to it. Every suspect had a good motive to commit the murder. It was also a nice touch that you get to know the main character. You discover her whole life story as the story line continues. The end was very tense and exciting. I kind of predicted the murderer but not completely!

easy read and kept me interested throughout, mainly because i liked that it was fast-paced. definitely reads like it's an episode of csi or law & order and often felt pretty cheesy. the killer reveal felt lackluster as there just weren't a lot of real clues that lead to it being this person in particular. i went through so many suspects but only because the evidence towards everyone was so small and vague and not because i felt like the mystery itself was well-done. there were a lot of typos throughout as well which felt lame on the editor's part.
