It was so much fun going back to this world once more - I've missed the crazy angels, demons, unfallen, fallen, and more so much.

Larissa Ione has done it again! I seriously could not put this book down! I loved everything about it from cover to cover. My only complaint is that is was so short, but I know that is how novellas work. I just wanted more! I love all of the Lords of Deliverance and Demonica books.

This novella was amazing!! I was intrigued by Azagoth when we first met him in the previous books. When it is discovered that he wanted a mate because he was lonely, I fell in love with him! I loved Lilliana for him. She was such a great female who also needed love an affection. Their relationship was beautiful. I wished we got a full book for them but I'm happy we got a full uninterrupted story of Azagoth and Lilliana.

Ah, Azagoth. Even grim reapers, it seems, don’t want to miss out on love. When Azagoth demands the angels send him a mate, tired of all the women he’s been required to service over the years to create children who no longer speak to him, they send Liliana, who isn’t too thrilled about the idea. She is, however, thrilled about a nifty artifact Azagoth has that she thinks she might steal. If only she can figure out how to get it out of the underworld without her angel powers. Fun times. These novellas in the 1001 dark nights collection are a fun addition to the Demonica world, just long enough to make a satisfying romance, and with plenty of steam and angel-demon snark. Azagoth and Liliana both had tortured pasts and watching them slowly come around to each other was a treat.

RE-READ again in order to refresh my memory to read Azagoth and Lilliana's full-length novel [Reaper]

Also, I don't get why some reader can confused Reaper with this novella. The description is not that much alike :/

Original review and first re-read review below:

First review:
AZAGOTH give me so many FEELING! Duh, I think I will re-read this again. Who knows that the big baddie, Father of all Memitim, a Grim Reaper nonetheless have a big heart and playful side?

Definitely a re-read worthy story! :D

My complaint is just, I wish this one is not novella :(

Re-read review

What can I said? I'm still in melancholy mode when finishing Revenant yesterday (and end up re-read it again) and today I don't bring my paperback so I decide to re-read Azagoth. Like my first read, this novella still great. I still love Azagoth whose very much alike Revenant, the big bad heroes with a tender heart. Even the part when Lilliana throw a childish tantrum that result in Azagoth agony, I still love read this one! I think Azagoth and Lilliana is suit for each other.

Larissa Ione always know how to write an uber-alpha hero without falling into asshole and jackass category (except for Ares and Shade :P). She will make reader falling in love with her characters, melting when read her heroes and wish for said hero to be their own ;)

Loved this! Devoured in one night! And although I haven't read this series in order (I've only read Pleasure Ubound so far) it wasn't at all hard to follow. The characters are complex, fun and intriguing and the chemistry is HOT!

Short with just the right amount of angst.
I have not read the Demonica series. Nonetheless, it did not my impede me jumping into the series seeing as Azagoth is the first book in Demonica's offshoot series, Demonica Underworld?
Warning: this is erotica. I didn't really mind that aspect of the book although generally it is not my main genre of preference.
I am eager to see how he deals with his children and the 'angels'. I like how we can follow Azagoth and Liliana's story in later books within the Demonica Underworld series. Starting from Hawkyn to Her Guardian Angel and then, Cipher...all culminating in the last book of the series (finale?), Reaper.

This is good. She does a really good job with a story that's only 158 pages long. It didn't feel like it was left up in the air or that she chopped up the ending. It worked.
