I really enjoyed the vibes of the book. I think the author did a great job in painting the picture and history of this small, intriguing town. I didn't like all the main characters all the time but still found myself rooting for them, which is hard to pull of. This would have been a 5 star review for me but unfortunately this book relied heavily (understandably) on the "lack of communication" trope to propel plot points forward, which I hate with all my being. I'm excited to continue the series.
