I liked the space / future themes, and thought this was going to exceed my expectations. After all, I had no idea what I was getting into at first, but only having 4 ratings on goodreads with an average of 2.25 made my expectations pretty low.

I guess since I'm rating this a 3 it DID exceed them. Anyway...

The ending was all wrapped up far too quickly and easily, and ended up feeling more like a children's fable with a moral at the end of the story than a cool comic about a (maybe) interesting superhero.

Could have been better, could have been worse.

I wasn't really familiar with the original story that this is inspired by and I found this 2011 version to be a little dull. Basically Cap and Guardians of the Galaxy go into the future to fight (?) Korvac. I grabbed this because it looked self-contained and I loved the smaller size. It worked fine to sit in an Airbnb and read, but left next to no impact.

Captain America & The Korvac Saga follows Captain America and The Avengers as they take on the cyborg Korvac. I feel like it had a lot of potential - particularly with regard to the connection between Korvac and Cap - but it's just so short and wrapped up before it even really gets a chance to get going. Two stars out of five say it all really. Not the worst comic I've ever read but certainly not as good as it could have been.
