Oh my God. This was such an excellent and enjoyable read. I FLEW through this book. You can literally finish it in one or two sittings if you're not busy. It's a great page turner, I couldn't stop reading. My first Kiersten book, but most definitely, not my last.

Now, to the real talk.
The part where it turned out that Ainsley knew that Peter was cheating on her, I did see it coming. But the plot twists kept coming so if you thought you knew it all, you didn't. Cause this book was literally packed with plot twists. So, overall, a great thriller. As good as the silent patient.

So many twists and turns. First time reading anything by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved how fast pace it was. Just when you think you've figured things out, there's another twist. Looking forward to reading the next one.

I am glad it was a short read. I truly enjoy books with twists and WTF moments but this....beyond ridiculous. This book felt like she started with 6-7 twists and tried to work from there. I enjoyed the book until about the 50% mark...after that it just became more absurd to me. I kept reading just to see, "ok what else will she add?". I will not waste time reading the sequrl

Ainsley and Peter are desperate to fix their stale marriage. They make an arrangement that they can each date other people one night a week. No questions or details asked. When something horrible happens the couple is forced to cover for each other no matter what.

This is a story full of secrets. Nothing is as it seems. The secrets grow darker as the the story continues. WOW! I was blown away by ending. It screams for a sequel and I can’t wait to read it!

I want to give this novel 4.5 stars.. but I can’t. This book was actually great and a true page-turner. I finished it in 3 days with my busy schedule. The story is told from two perspectives… the wife and the husband. The truth unravels at well-timed intervals and the climax is worth the wait. It is a shorter novel but I would highly recommend it to those who like thrillers with surprising reveals. This is a straight forward plot novel and fast paced. Not a lot of literary fluff. Exciting and intriguing. If you want to curl up one evening with a book, a bath, and a glass of wine, this book is for you. Widely entertaining and an insight into the twisted lives of others.
