Kaden is not my sexy ass Lore or Eidolon but he is also a sexy ass bloodsucker! :D

And this is Larissa Ione we're talking about people, so of course this is awesome! :D

Fans of the series should read it. I totally recommend it!

I mean, this story was to short to really make anything of the characters or their situation, and it felt pretty bare-bones and cliched. Not required reading for this series.

A quick novella-length story set in the Demonica world and this one can totally be read as a stand-alone. Andrea and Kaden are Aegis guardians whose cell specifically targets vampires. When Kaden gets captured and turned by the very vampires they are targeting it changes everything for them. Unable to stake the man she loves who doesn’t really seem that different to what he once was. Andrea knows they will need to find a viable alternative that will mean that can be together despite Kaden’s current fangs.

This one was short and sweet, it was well-written and an enjoyable read. We do get a cameo from Tayla and Eidolon which was definitely appreciated. For me, though It wasn’t really long enough to get a real sense of Kaden and Andrea but from what I did see I liked. I’m definitely not a novella girl that’s for sure preferring full novels but this was decent enough and the romance itself was super sweet and sexy.

I would like to read more about their story. I read this in The Mammoth Book of Romance 2 not on the Kindle. I'm not sure if there is more to the story on the Kindle or not, but it's only .99 cents, so I will by it just to make sure.

A short fun read written in typically fabulous Ione style.

44 pages wasn't nearly enough but it definitely made me decide to read the rest in this series!

This was a good quick read. It felt like you came into the end of the story and there was a big jump in timeline to the very end. You get teased about what will happen "later" but then... jump... it is two weeks later and you are in a psuedo epilogue and you get a back story on what happened but don't get the promise of "later". Anyway, it still was good but just not great for me. Nice to find a Demonica novella that I missed the first time around. And it was nice to see Tayla and Eidelon again.

Not a bad short story. I did miss many of the characters from the main Demonica series, though you will find Tayla and E at the end of the story.
