Despite loving the 2005 film so much, I had never read the book. I would give it a 4.5/5, I loved Elizabeth, Mr. Darcy, Jane, and Mr. Bingley as I should. I was just as annoyed by Lydia and Mr. Wickham. It did take me a bit longer to read than other books, simply due to when it was written but overall I enjoyed it!

This is my favourite book in the world! I have always cherished the Jane Austen novel but the addition of the letters made it a whole-boey experience. Each little treasure allowed us to feel what the reader would have felt while unfolding these precious lines.
Thank you Barbara Heller for the work you put in to allow us all to experience a part of a world many of us grew up hoping to experience!

Lovable regency era/period romance drama. Slow in the beginning but never boring. Need to stick with it, worth it in the end.
