Trigger warning of Rape in this review and more importantly in this book.
I want to state the above warning because I think I would have seriously reconsidered it had this warning been on the description. Some books when its mentioned I think I can cope but its up to me. This had me sobbing by 37% and I would have appreciated the heads up. Its not something graphic you don't read it but the heroine is majorly affected, has nightmares etc and some flash backs were parts are written its OK to skip. And these parts are a little key to explain her outlook. Her panic attacks blah blah. It just triggered me and I did stop and almost relive my experience which wasn't as bad but still traumatic for me. My advice is if you have trauma like this don't neccesarily skip this book but go into it with your eyes open.
Now forgetting the above and reviewing the book & its romance. The Hero didn't get off great. You hear him having sex and its after hes seen her not like they made any moves but while I appreciate hes a bad boy I think us romance readers do like it when the hero gives up his ways to be into the heroine... its my preferred style and so I did drop a star for that.
The romance was cute really. He was a typical dick judging her for her money and she was down to earth I have money but I'm cool and I did enjoy that. Their romance flowed nicely and I found myself enjoying reading this book.

I can't explain it but this hit all of my buttons. I couldn't put this down for long. I'm looking forward to Jase and Poppy's story.

This is my first book from Jessica Prince but I’m officially a fan! I absolutely loved Cannon and Farah’s story. It was tragic but saw how the bad boy can be tamed and shattered souls can be healed. The way they came together, you couldn’t help but be sucked into their storyline. I can not wait to read more from the redemption series.

A Wonderful Introduction
I’m not sure how I stumbled on this book but I am thrilled I did. However, I am grumpy that there’s a wait for the next in the series. I have discovered there is a lovely series called Green Valley that will tide me over.
This was a sweet read with likable characters that you hope you get to meet again. And soon. There was a nice element of suspense that made you like Farah alone more. Not to mention the entire cast of characters who were memorable and I definitely hope to see more of in the future.
As I said this is my first read by this author and I look forward to reading more.

Cute story
Loved Farrah from the start, and Cannon slowly grew on me. Book was well written, as are all of the Jessica Prince books I’ve read. Excited to start Jase and Poppy’s story next!
