Writing: 3.5⭐️/5
The writing shined at certain moments and at others, it felt forced and trope-driven. The dialogue suffered at moments as well, reading more like strained conversations than natural communication. That being said, some moments were very well written and kept me engaged until the end.

Characters: 3.75⭐️/5
I loved the inclusion of a woman with autism as the main love interest. The slow reveal of her autism felt nice as well, as the readers become comfortable with her “quirks” rather than just as a woman with autism. I think, while the main characters were intriguing, they did lack a bit of human quality to make them fully believable.

Plot: 3.5⭐️/5
The plot was fun, as long as you don’t think too hard about certain aspects. I felt the backstory of Michael’s dad was both withheld for far too long and also less significant than all the foreshadowing seemed to imply it would be. I did, however, love the handling of the fake dating trope, even if it started from a slightly ridiculous spot.

This was really cute! I read this for a day and sacrificed some sleep because I could not put it down. It just grabbed my attention from the very beginning and did not let go. The MC and her love interest's chemistry were through the roof. It's my first time reading a book with a main character on the autism spectrum and I'm very glad the author treated her with sensitivity and was not disrespectful at all (at least I think). This is an adult romance book so there were some smut scenes, it was hot but surprisingly heartwarming to read. The third act made me deduct a .5 star but overall would definitely recommend it!

Minus half a star for the blatant lack of a much needed HR department to deal with Phillip’s disgusting behavior.

"Michael was mint chocolate chip for her. She could try other flavors, but he’d always be her favorite."

I vaguely remember buying a hard copy of this book in an airport and knew a lot of people in the book community recommends it. The cover definitely fooled the naive me and definitely did not expect such a steamy-filled book this is. Also, definitely my fault for not reading the back cover. Nonetheless, I was not disappointed in the slightest.

I love everything in this book: the characters, the steamy scenes, the plot, THE CHARACTERS, definitely Michael and Stella.

Don’t judge the cover literally is what this book is about because the same could be said about these two main characters. They both have flaws on the outside but it’s definitely the insides are what matters. Definitely a must-read for me in the future.

Didn’t love the book, the character interactions weren’t my favorite, but I like what the book was attempting to do

Quite entertaining, nothing to special. But you wil definitely fall for the characters, and get sucked in the story. It’s a really nice lovable romance, perfect for when you’re in a reading slump

The overall idea of this book, I think is a good idea, however I do find slight problems in the way it was executed. After the romance was “developed” and the characters were far past “in love”, still I cannot see their relationship past lust. Even in those non sexual but romantic moments, the characters always found a way to indulge in erotic activities. It became slightly annoying because it felt once again as thought their romance was purely based on lust. I mean if they had to take a basic quiz on each other, they would fail. For god sake that didn’t even know each other’s favorite color. Yes I could be being picky but a more evolved romance would have been welcomed. The book was okay but it Isn’t a book I would recommend.
