I read this book rather quickly, and was glad for that. I wanted to love this but definitely did not. My least favorite Nicholas Sparks book by far. It felt like things were thrown in randomly for added drama but they were not cohesive with the story. The characters were ones I could relate to, that’s about all I can say that was positive about this book. Just felt rushed and did not flow well.

Overall it's your typical Nicholas Sparks storyline, but it definitely was well written. It isn't one of my top 5 books, but it's close.

Such an adorable love story that happens to be true. Typical Nicholas Sparks fashion. I did get angry about halfway through but that’s what happens in real life so it all makes sense in the end.

Not the first book I planned to finish this year but one that was made available and I knew would bring comfort as the author always promises to keep me intrigued. A beautiful story with a very ‘real’ reality intertwined.
