I've been planning to read this for a lomg time but I was never a fan of the fake dating trope. In this case, there is a bit of a difference because I did not know that practice dating and practice sex in a reality-tv environment are a thing.

I love how the relationship of Dev and Charlie developed. I also love the exotic settings that witnessed the relationahip that blossomed. I also love the support group of the two protaganist and how there's a lot of representation in terms of gender identity in the story. I also love how the dilemma between following your heart vs being a professional was handled. Also, the grand finale and the things that lead to it was executed so well, I was literally squirming and felt giddy with the ending the characters had.

I am putting this book alongside Red White, Royal Blue as my favorite gay romance story. 5 stars

So fun! Love the premise and the author crafted lovable characters within reassuring depictions of mental health struggles.

Okay this was cute as hell. My only problem with it is that there’s SO MANY second hand embarrassment moments lwad I can only take so much????
Overall.. very heartwarming and sweet read.

Cute, fluffy, quick read. I think I might be over romance as a genre, but this was still fun to read! Ever since I read (and hated) Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld, I was interested in reading a Bachelor-esque plot done right (more in the context of a modern-day Pride and Prejudice, like Sittenfeld attempted, but whatever) and I think this book delivered on that! Not something I would pick up again, but also not something I regret reading. I think the romance felt very natural, and I loved the representation of reading a love story with a protagonist impacted by a severe anxiety disorder. Overall, a very sweet story!
