I wish I had started the introduction to this world through a movie adaptation. The idea of this unique mix of Mad Max and Discworld is fascinating, but I needed more time to fall in love with the characters or get engaged enough with the story.

And yet I can't wait to dig deeper into this one and read the next volume. Also, the Ukrainian translation is brilliant.

Irreverent, post apocalyptic fantasy, where the protagonist is a bit of a shit heel and has a unicorn with three horns that swears and maims people when (easily) irritated. It’s another fun, turn off your brain, type deal. It’s also pretty messy and overwritten in places, but the artwork and panelling are engaging and great, so it eeks out a pass from me - though I won’t be continuing with it. Bit too gonzo for my tastes.

Really incredible art style – so much colour and details to take in. Interesting post-apocalyptic take on a fantasy story too. Looking forward to reading the next one.

I don´t like the art work and sometimes the colors are very pretty but overall I thought it was all over the place. Even thou this was a long first issue I am not invested at all and I don´t think I will continue.

Coda has a post-apocalyptic setting in a high fantasy world, which is what drew me in. This first volume sets up the story and characters well (with a nice twist on the damsel in distress thrown in for good measure). I think the series has the potential to be good, but isn't quite there yet.

Prosto, likovi su same old same old - ili možda meni samo u ovom trenutku nije posebno legao. Uzeh Kodu sa 'Best of 2018' liste i završih vol1 nekako razočaran. Očekivanja ili šta li je, ali može ovo mnogo bolje. Možda će i postati.

I really liked Coda. Super cool setting, very imaginative (Mad Max with D&D sprinkled on it), and I LOVED the "twist" towards the end. The characters feel alive and real.
I wasn't super sold on the art style, though. Not that I disliked it, but it felt a bit meh?
