The sequel is pretty different from the first book, but still an excellent story! This one was more of an adventure story with a quest of sorts. I greatly enjoyed it and had a hard time stopping reading. Once again the story was very atmospheric and dark. The supernatural/monstrous elements were well utilized, building the tension when needed but not drowning the pages in gore just for the sake of it.
