It felt like Lilly was sitting next to me and we're having a girl talk of sorts. It's easily digestible and does not come off as preachy, which self help books have a tendency to do. I like the reframing of "distractions" and the perspective she offers on how one's outlook and relationship with life and the universe and ourselves should be.

This was a super quick read, with adorable and hilarious illustrations, just not sure if I retained anything.

Since watching Canada’s Got Talent, I’ve become a fan of Lilly Singh. I love her sense of humour and her personality.
This is the first of her two books that I’ve read. I did enjoy it, but the ideas she presented aren’t new and life changing or earth shattering.

I did snag a couple quotes that I’ve saved in my Bookly app.

In the end, I’m not taking much from this short book other than those quotes and an enjoyable hour of reading time listening to Lilly narrate the audio and following along with the print.

Somewhere between iiSuperwomanii and Be a Triangle, we all grew up. I listened to the audiobook and it felt oddly nostalgic. Lilly definitely has a way with words, I laughed, reflect and I enjoyed her analogies. I liked the tone of the book, it was empathetic and understanding, plus the improvement strategies were simple — realistic changes we can include in life.
