I found the opening half of this delightfully bitter, funny, and comical. Like truly a “recommend to everyone” kind of book. But I dunno, I’m not sure about the third act. It’s all a bit disempowering. I need to sleep on it.

Really liked this book. It was gross and weird and dark and very fun to read. Like if Mean Girls was really dark and twisted. I do feel like the ending was lacking something—if not more explanations, perhaps it just needed MORE. Just felt kinda in line with the rest of the book and not necessarily the huge climax I was hoping for. If you like weird horror books, you’ll enjoy this one.
