Well written satire of Ivy League writing programs that really pushes the envelope, goes where you don’t believe it will go, and can be seen as a metaphor of the writing process and creativity itself. Not what I expected but we’ll worth the read

Dark and strange, satirical and revealing, this book hooked me early and I held on for the crazy ride. Our world but maybe not, with characters that are derived from reality then taken to an extreme. Most of the writing I loved, but there were a few quirks that popped me out of the moment.

I'm honestly not sure how I felt about this book. I think I really enjoyed it, but it's the type of story that you really have to sit on for a little while to process. Definitely best to go in blind and not know anything about the plot!
