Finally took the sharp turn towards horror that it has been hinting at the past few volumes.
Shion seems to swing between despair, violence, and frustration caused by his disillusionment with humanity. I do like that Shion and Rat’s relationship has become more layered; also in terms of Shion’s perceived personality.
