It was actually really hard for me to get into this series and I’m not sure why. It was good, but it’s not one of my favorites. It also seems very different compared to Bea’s other books for some reason. I really liked Ivan because I felt like he had the most character growth (not that the others were bad), his character almost did a complete 180. Rose was amazing as well. She took charge and immediately wanted to help these men that didn’t seem deserving of her attention. Erik is kind of batshit and I like that because I can’t help but love the crazies. Anton just seems really sweet to me?

Just the quote “this is the first time I’ve come close to wanting to take without getting consent “ left a bit of an icky feeling

I could not read one more description of Ivan's balls tightening.

I listened through audible and unfortunately I didn't like the actors voices 😔 I will continue the series but I'm going to read them

Unexpected

Sometimes you find a rare, unexpected gem of a book that sucks you in and you can’t put it down. For me, this was one of those books! It’s not a theme that I usually read, but this was beautifully written! The relationship between Rose, Ivan, and the boys is so intriguing and well thought out.

Rose is desperately looking for a job, and finds one being a Personal Assistant to a wealthy man. She has been through so much in her life, but will this job save her and finally end her?
This story had such intrigue and was gripping from page one. It wove between past and present, wants and needs, desires and fears and I need to read more!
