After a day of processing the book post-read, I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Although some of the parts were interesting, I actually did not agree with how it all ended up unfolding and his plan to make her “agree to marry” low key gave a manipulation and gas lighting. I mean yes she realized her feelings for him at the end, but getting to that stage felt really odd to me. Not my favorite book from the Bridgerton series but it still had some good moments.

Not the best bridgerton book but not the worst. Read it mostly to see why everyone is losing their shit over Michael possibly being Michaela in the show and I gotta say I still don’t get it. Their chemistry was fine, but nothing to write home about honestly.

I kind of liked this one after all. This still had a lot of the male's perspective, but at least for once it was him who was worried his love might be one sided.
I also really liked that he acknowledged that their friendship ran so deep he would be fine if she didn't love him in return - as long as he had her at all. Yes, it was the typical wording which all books of the series have, but with Michael for once it was believable.
