I only read one story from this anthology so far, I'll update my review if I read more of them.

Witch Mocha Morsel by H.Y. Hanna
This was a fun read. I have read all the books in this series so far and it was fun to spend a bit of time with Caitlin, her friends, family and her kitten Nibs. In this story there is a short adventure featuring Nibs that goes missing and some trouble Caitlin lands in. It was a pretty short read and didn't really have much of a mystery like the full novels, but it was a fun short read.

It was fun how there were some references to things that happened in the books and for people new to the series that might make them curious about the books. It mostly can be read as a standalone although there are a few things revealed here that Caitlin won't discover until later in the books, but those are minor things mostly. It was itnerestign to meet a paranormal creature we haven't yet in the full length books.

I did think the cinnamon sugar situation was a tad unbelievable, with how so much would stick to Nibs's fur and be still there a while later. And I was wondering if it was normal for Nibs to go out, because if he didn't why did he now and if he did go outside normally why would Caitlin worry about him so much. But it did made for a fun little story and I liked how Caitlin felt a bit happier about herself at the end. Overall it's a fun short read.

Fun and quirky

All the short stories were fun. My favorite was Gina LaManna’s, but I love the series that this story connects to, so I’m probably a bit prejudiced. Cats figure prominently in the stories, but there are different animals too, some crack me up.
