Quick easy read. A good popcorn book, it won't light the literary world on first but you won't regret the few hours spent reading it. Sure it is full over the top action and oh my lord the tropes, but that doesn't make it bad. The book knows what it is and excels at it.

Getting tired of the continuing religious themes, though it is refreshing that the books always put the religions in a negative light, except for the one guy. Still, I'd like to see stuff away from religion for a change.
3.5 rated up because I want to read the last one. The one had a lot going on and then just part of it was ended kind of stupidly. I think it should have focused on one story or another, it felt like there wasn't enough ideas for either story so it was just mashed together.
Hex is arrogant as ever, which makes me laugh. Most people would probably hate him.
