Fuckin delicious 😌 Absolutely incredible.

The use of voice, pacing, narrative, it all is just so good. The context builds up bit by bit, the plot just keeps getting more intricate and JUICY. I've never read horror in this character-heavy casual tone before, and it was such a treat.

Lots of gore, lots of modern indegenous insight, lots of anticipation and yummy twists. Can't recommend it enough if it's up your alley.

Too descriptive of the gore from injuries, too many unnecessary deaths. I wanted to enjoy this book but all it did was read like a snuff film (book) where everyone dies for the sake of dying. Yes, there was a vengeful spirit, yes there was a few interesting things, but honestly, if you don't enjoy hardcore gore and horror, stay away.
