Die wechselnden Perspektiven fand ich an sich schön, allerdings sind die jeweiligen Sichten auch unterschiedlich sympathisch. Der klassistische Blick auf die Landbewohner sollte unsympathisch sein (was sehr gut aufgegangen ist), aber wie ironisch der umgekehrt verachtende Blick auf die Öko-Hipster aus der Stadt sein sollte  - da bin ich mir nicht sicher. Das empfand ich irgendwann als insgesamt etwas viel, da in den entsprechenden Kapiteln auch nicht viel passiert, außer dass weiter auf dieser (dann langsam bekannten) Haltung rumgeritten wird.
Durch diese Teile hat sich das Buch für mich in der Mitte etwas gezogen. Aber zum Glück wechselt es dann ja auch wieder.

Insgesamt hat mir die Geschichte am Ende besser gefallen als zwischendurch gedacht. Das Haus und die Holzmöbel als Motiv waren interessant. Die Gefüge und Zusammenhänge zwischen den Generationen, und wie das teilweise in Worte gefasst wird, hat mir sehr gefallen. Einige Stellen hab ich mir angestrichen.
Mir gefällt auch, dass vieles implizit erzählt wird und nicht bis ins letzte Detail beschrieben ist. Trotzdem waren einige Stellen echt emotional.

Ich habe selbst keinen Bezug zu Hamburg oder Platt. Mit mir haben die komplizierten Mutter-Tochter Beziehungen resoniert. Ich werde das Buch jedenfalls meiner Mutter ausleihen.

One of my favorite books of the year so far! I loved the multiple petspectives, the non-linear storytelling, and the sympathy with which the author explores the experiences of her protagonists. Without moralizing, the author shows how traces of the past continue to show up in the present.
