Left Hanging

Amazing! In my opinion it was written better than the previous ones! She allowed him to show true growth in this one!

This. Nigga. Here.
Whew! This was a read. A black love story for the ages. The twists, turns, up, and downs of this emotional rollercoaster had me experiencing so many feels. At points I didn't want to put these books down and couldn't. These characters remained with me even in my sleep. This is a story of love, forgiveness, healing, growth, and resilience. Ethic. Alani. Nannie. Bella. Eazy. Morgan. Messiah. Bleu. Isa. Aria. Ahmeek. NYAIR (who I don't think gets enough love). We watch these characters walk through so much turmoil, brokenness, and healing. They grow through it all. One of my favorite things about this book besides the characters and storyline is the accompanying playlists and infusion of music through this story. These books come with their very own soundtrack that has me all in my feels with songs on repeat. If you wanna snot-nose ugly cry, experience full belly laughs, and wade through every emotion with these characters this is the book for you. Our very own black love story. This story has revitalized my imagination and creativity. Thank you Ashley Antoinette for telling our stories with such care and passion. Keep writing! We want more!

A huge revelation in this book for Ethic and Morgan. The way Ashley weaves these stories together is amazing. I was completely shocked. This book was emotional and sad. As one couple seems to be coming together another one is devastatingly torn apart.

Most likely, if you are looking at reviews for THIS book, it‰ЫЄs because either you just heard about it and don‰ЫЄt realize there are 3 other books before this one in the series, orrrrrrr it‰ЫЄs because you are blown away and just want to read other peoples thoughts on this book!!!! Either way‰Ы_.this series has everything! The performance is amazing (great job on the read), the story is sooo juicy, I often wonder if the author is Alanie and we are now reading what she wrote, in order to heal from all of this! Man, I was sooo into listening and doing dishes that my mouth was wide open when it was over! Like‰Ы_.wait, no, whatttt?!?!?!?!? Chile bye, I‰ЫЄm off to adjust my seatbelt and crack open book five. I have been here, doing this, for way too long! Enjoy!

My review in 6 words: The best book in the series!

If Book 3 was the calm, then Book 4 is DEFINITELY the storm. The plot is amazing and I love the character development. Once you find out Messiah’s secret and the reason why he considered the plan in the first place…it just puts things into perspective for the reader. This book was just action packed all the way through. The arguments between Morgan and Messiah was so raw, passionate, and real! I am also very excited to see about the possibility of a storyline between Bella and Henny. Ready for Book 5 to pick up where we left off and it better not start with a death….
