“There is no space for judgement where there is love.” Grandpa

As I read this book, I thought a lot about what we do as humans. We live in a state of judgement thinking our way is the right way. We need to live in love. The only way we will win them is through love. Bea’s Grandpa reminded me of this.

“A previously unknown portion of my brain reminded me that life grew in the cracks, the earth pushing up through those imperfections to fill them with green and flowers.” Priest

This author always takes me on a journey through her books. They are gritty, but beautiful. Her words are like poetry. The grittiest of those words the prettiest. Bea and Priest their story is the dirtiest, but in the end the one that shines the most. Their lives together were made up of broken pieces that grew the prettiest wildflowers.

This author pours her all into her writing. I don’t know how she does it. It’s like a puzzle of beautiful words. Challenging you to piece it together. This book our characters were stretched to the point of breaking. I loved that Bea was always reaching out in love. Always trying to save the underdog. We see Priest hide from everyone. He always lived in the shadows. He called Bea his little shadow, but I think she was more light. Her light lit up their world.

Billy... poor sweet baby. Who just wanted to understand life. Phillipa disillusioned by life, but I hope we see more of her. Cleo, I want her story. I loved this book. I needed it. ❤️

I loved this MC romance! MMC is the MC enforcer, the man they send out to collect a life. A man who thought he was too dark and tainted to be loved but really just broken. Friends to lovers, touch her and die vibe.

It didn’t replace my favorite (Nova & Lila) but still loves it & can’t wait for the next.

It was a bit slow going for me at first as I’m not one for rough tough mmc’s (love me an alpha male but not one for big brutish bearded tattooed biker types) and was def put off at first that priest was a redhead (no hate just not my preference) but I’m glad I gave it a chance, the villain was hella predictable but still a pretty decent read and the dirty talk was on point. Be prepared for tons of confusion as there are about two dozen different side characters and it was impossible to keep up lol

This book is perfect in every way, a cute psychopath, a good girl with a dark side, a lot of steamy sex and KNIFE PLAY (yeah, i'm super happy that i got that right) and an amazing obsession.
Priest you won my heart, i love the psycho type and Giana didn't let me down. Priest is pretty ruthless and he doesn't show emotions at all but his thoughts gave me pussy flutters, there isn't another way to say it. I love his Alpha attitude, super possessive and he is the type of guy that kills for his babe , who doesn't want that? Is just me? Okay!
Bea, biker babe, where did you come from? I loved her backbone, the fact that even though she was religious that didn't make her a goody too shoes, i hate doormat type (sorry not sorry). She was fearless, provocative and we share our love for serial killers so i really connected with her.
They kind of reminded me of Nova and Lila because they had an insane attraction but didn't go through with it for some time.
Priest isn't an expressive and romantic type of guy, he is more actions less talk and it was really good for a change, he said he would kill anyone who dares to hurt his girl, isn't that super sweet?
And Bea fought Priest demons like her own , what a badass bitch!
Thank you,Giana for this christmas gift, loved every second of it. Now i want Wrath and Dane. I really liked them on this book.
