zero chemistry. one dimensional characters with no distinctive traits. the smut was equally bad.
The worst part of this book other than it's dialogues was the part when michael found out about them. Mia had absolutely no authority over her kids? Like she let him lash out like that and talk so disrespectfully to her? From the moment michael found out to the point where josh disappears, she had ample amount of time to sit down and make her FIFTEEN year old son understand the situation.
Wasted my time reading this.

This was pretty decent but I think my expectations for it were pretty high. It ended up feeling underwhelming and sad. The whole situation with Mia’s ex seemed to be hanging over everything the whole time and never really got resolved well. The kids were probably the best part about the book me. Compared to all of the emotional and intense things happening the romance felt flat and shallow. Their physical chemistry was intense but there didn’t seem to be a lot else.Â
