this book is such a comfort read for me and I still loved it as much the fifth time around as I did when I read it the first time! The world is so immersive and the characters are incredibly lovable.
Despite that, I have to note that there are many plot-holes and things that don't add up. I don't know how I would feel about that if I would read this book for the first time as an adult, but because of the nostalgia attached to it, it doesn't bother me that much and it doesn't hinder my enjoyment in the slightest.
Even though I strongly disagree with J.K. Rowlings recent behavior and damaging beliefs concerning the trans-community, I am also grateful for her creating this world that has been a place of refuge and comfort for me for many years.

I have been a Potter Head ever since I watched the first movie. I have seen the series numerous times, so I was very excited to start reading the books back in 2016 and see all the details missed by the films! I reread this book recently and it was just as amazing as I remember. I am extremely biased but I just love this book! <3

Listened to the audiobook this time - can’t remember how many times I’ve read or listened to this book and I love it just as much each time. Listening to Jim Dale’s narration reminds me of road trips with my family as a kid.

REREAD

My last read of this was during my highschool-early college years.
I see and noted a few plotholes.
