So, this story has a LOT of negative reviews. Or, more accurately, a lot of lackluster reviews. I didn’t pay much mind to them before reading the story. Maybe I should have?

I definite do not vehemently dislike this work but I do agree that it has some unrefined aspects, perhaps the worst aspect being its reliance on cliches. To me, it seems like it was trying to pull off a Texas Chainsaw Massacre-esque story without any of the finesse. There’s not enough attention paid to the details, though to pull it off. Ultimately, I’m left feeling like this story bit off more than it could chew.

That said, I did still give it a fairly neutral rating because I did find the underlying (and unfortunately under-developed) idea to be interesting and the art is definitely engaging if a bit incongruous with the writing at points. I appreciated the essay addition at the end of the work as well though I wish the content had been more integrated in some way. It just kind of “floats” at the end there with little purpose.

This was really really not for me. But if you like satanic cults and gore and a plot arc which is more blood than plot, this might just be for you!

Meh, i've definitely read better. The artwork was passible but uninspired, the storyline was predictable and boring, i just didn't really care too much about anything that happened.

Good short series. The essays were almost my favorite part. The artwork is really awesome, it ties it all together in a special way.

the cover art is vibrant and bold. the story inside is everything but. characters with no personalities and a barely there plot. not worth reading.

This is a straight-up gory horror movie of a graphic novel, steeped in the classics of horror cinema. It's an entertaining variation on a theme, and the art is at times excellent. However, some of the action sequences are so claustrophobic that it's a little bit hard to follow just what has transpired, and I ended up having to read part of the ending twice.

This was "meh" from beginning to end. I had high hopes when I heard about this one, but the artwork was jumbled and didn't convey any sense of horror. The storyline started out interesting, and fell flat and trope-ridden by the end.
