I kind of felt like this was really drawn out I'm ready for it to be done.

The Rise of Nine added such a great new addition to the tribe! The development of the storyline within this book has me on the edge of my seat. The action and dialogue between the characters had me laughing out loud and yelling in frustration! So much intense action and anticipation of what will happen kept me glued to the pages. I cannot wait to see where this story continues to go! This is such a fantastic read and I cannot wait to devour the rest of the series!

Another one down and dusted.

Probably my favorite out of the 3 I've read so far. The last 100 pages or so were so intense that I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the shifting perspectives between Four, Six and Seven.

I've really grown to like Seven more and more. Definitely my favorite character. Four also hasn't been as annoying in this book as he was the previous. Although, he's still a self centred moron (but I guess there has to be one in every group of aliens that are fighting for their races survival, right?)

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm so hooked with the series! It keeps getting better and better. It was so thrilling to see all of the numbers join together to save the world. My only peeve is that the first person always switches characters, sometimes makes it difficult for me to follow. I did notice a little slip up in the writing, the editor might have missed that one. Still, an incredible read and I hope the sequels make it to the big screen as well.

I liked this story. It was a good yarn and I'm looking forward to the next one. I've gotten past the fact that the author is in his own story. I haven't done any research to find out what the deal is with him, but I'm going to go with the assumption that he's role-playing. That he was the strongest and wisest of the elders and that this is his story. As someone who is a fan of role-playing games, I can respect that.

What I can't respect, however, is his need to use three different fonts for three different character PoVs. What. The. Hell. I can understand not wanting to label all of your sections by name, but there has got to be a better way to differentiate between characters. I found that to be so completely jarring and off-putting that if I hadn't read the first two books, I would have put this one right down once I reached chapter 2.

I liked the characters and the story was good fun, so I won't complain too much. But the font is the main reason I've given it 3 stars and not more.

It got a bit confusing since it is a point of view of three of them but still very interesting. I just think this looks like a telenovela... they are never without trouble. Gez

This is the last of the ones I've already read. Again, loved it! I really like the lightness that Nine brings to the group, even if he is a stinker. And Eight is also surprisingly lighthearted in a different way. The pacing is excelling, even juggling so many different perspectives across the world. And the build up to the end was amazing, even if the abrupt ending was just a tad confusing.
