The Guardians has an interesting premise and is well written. It is rather slow moving however and I almost gave up on it multiple times. The main story is an interesting one. There is second story interwoven in a rather confusing way that muddled the plot and made it harder to follow.

This book was good and would be a good place to start for someone wanting a story to help them learn about injustice in the US prison system. You need to read Just Mercy tho. A good story but I felt like the ending was rushed and there was a lot of build up for nothing. Also he had some weird pointless comments about women that made me feel weird.

Great story of the Guardian Ministries working to get Quincy Miller our of a long year prison sentence after being wrongfully convicted over 20 years ago.

A good, very readable book that never gets anywhere near Grisham at his best. It has all the classic grisham hallmarks: very believable, a miscarriage of justice, good courtroom drama. However, it lacks tension and is very predictable
