This is my 8th book. I this book Morgan tries to know her fatter Ceiran more to know secrets , get to know him. Many things have been revealed . We come to know about her mother through Cerien's eyes, More choices bettween good and bad. I know magic can make things easier but to what purpose you use make you good or bad not who your father is. It teaches a lot about these concept and i liked it.

Felt good but not great about this book. Morgan seemed to fall apart just because her parents weren't there when in reality she never even hangs out with them enoigh to feel a difference. IDK, it felt a bit forced to me that she fell apart when her real dad and half-brother were just around the corner.

SpoilerI really hope Hunter and Morgan make up soon cause I just love them together!

Just because they change into wolves at the end does not mean that this book is about changelings — another misnomer Cate. You can see this fixed in the translations, e.g., Dutch erfgoed 'heritage' or German verwandte Geister 'kindred spirits'. At least the translators read your book.

There is something off with the pacing of this book, where NOTHING happens for 4/5 of the book and then you have a really short climax (already present in the previous books but it didn't bother me that much before).

My copy also had numerous typos, which sucked.

Okay tbh this was a pretty solid 3 star read the whole way through until the end...it was just so cheesy that I had to dock a star off. Like, I'm sorry, but...it was just super lame.

This book did a great job of showing Morgan's continual struggle between good and evil, and her discovery that it might not always be cut and dry. The relationship she forms with Ciaran is heartwarming a little, and I found myself rooting for him, hoping he wasn't as evil as everyone says he is. I hope we find out more information about him in coming books that proves that. :) Morgan's stubbornness sometimes irritates me, like why she kept herself from Hunter, or how she finds out a little information and cling to that as truth, stubbornly refusing to hear anything else. I wish she would seek out more information and try to find out more. I can't wait to start the next book, though and see where everything is headed.
