I didn't realize what this was when I put it on hold at the library. But it was the unabridged audio version of the junior novelization. A 90-minute adaptation of the movie.
It was an interesting way to relive the movie. I don't know what age group a "junior novelization" is aimed at, but it didn't seem like you needed to leave so much out. Phrases like "you could have gotten us killed" were turned into "you could have gotten us hurt".
And, they left out the entire final climactic scene of the movie. Which I was really looking forward, too - imagining the movie play out while listening to the narration.
