Interesting information, but presented in a dry, academic fashion. I felt like I was in a college lecture hall. It made me want to find a different book about dogs with a higher rating and listen to it.

The good news: audiobooks allow you to pick the playback speed, so I listened to this at 2x.

Themes: dogs, behavior

Look, I learned some more about dogs. I looked at our dog a little differently. Wittgenstein got an unexpected name check. And I was entertained. But I suspect you really have to be a dog lover.

I thought it would be more of a story about a dog in his or her 1st person perspective but this book is more of a discussion on how dogs particularly behave in regards with the history of their domestication from wolves and from a (scientist) dog owner's research on animal behavior. "Inside of a Dog" is a little misleading title.
