I listened to the audiobook version. I love how the narrator read the story, how he voiced different animals differently is cool! This book has beautiful and detailed narration about the nature, but also about the dark things happened inside the forest, for example : detailed injury/death/attack descriptions.

A perfect book for the end of summer. Nothing is permanent and everything is beautiful.

I read this once a year at least. It’s always been a deep rooted favorite of mine. Quiet, contemplative, and very bittersweet. It’s one of those books that’s shaped me as a person.
