Eyes on Me is the second book in the Salacious Players Club series. Garrett is a bit burnt out from helping run the club, so at the beginning of the story his best friend Emerson suggests he take some time off. He goes to stay at his family’s lake house, where they go every summer. He’s hesitant to go because he doesn’t get along with his stepsister, Mia. On her end Mia has been in love with Garrett since she was a teenager, despite their constant bickering. Unbeknownst to anyone she’s become a cam girl on an app called FlirtyGirl (similar to OnlyFans). She strikes up a conversation with one of her new clients Drake. She and Drake have a instant connection that she’s never had with any of her other clients before (not knowing that Drake is Garrett who stumbled upon her on the app). Meanwhile Garrett is trying to figure out what is going on between himself and Mia when they discover they have a growing attraction between them. Lots of hot scenes follow all the while they are dodging their parents (his mom and her dad) while doing so. Mia continues to grow in her attachment to Drake texting him outside of the context of a session on the app. Their vacation at the lake house comes to a close with them no closer to figuring out their complicated feelings towards one another. Once back at home Garrett has an idea to boost the Salacious Club’s numbers by inviting sex workers with large followings to the club for an elaborate event; offering VIP memberships to them. They can then tell their following about the club and all the fun they had making them eager to join as well. Emerson suggests they get Mia to consult on the project, which Garrett immediately rejects, which he then reluctantly says he’ll think about. Mia goes to the club to see Garrett where she learns about the event, much to his chargrin, and also that he’s part owner of a sex club. They make use of one of the rooms, in a very hot scene. They continue a physical relationship all the while trying not to get further emotionally attached.
After her dad has a medical scare (and Garrett runs all the way to the hospital to be with Mia and his mom about), his mother tells him she already figured out that they were together. While at his apartment Drake drops off some food for Mia and Garrett from Hunter and Isabel mentioning his name. Putting two and two together Mia figures out that Garrett and Drake are the same person and that he’s been lying to her. They get into a fight after he gets back from the hospital visiting her dad Paul. Mia continues to be angry at him up until the event at the club, where she performs despite his earlier objections. He actually joins her in a scene where they then have sex in front of the crowd. Later on they really talk and Garrett opens up about his depressive episodes and how they’ve impacted his life. Mia forgives him for not coming clean earlier about pretending to be Drake. He eventually asks her to marry him, she says yes, and during the epilogue they are trying to get pregnant. A solid romance from the second book in this series.
