4.5 out of 5 Stars: This one was intense and the themes and more descriptive of how the "epidemic" started It worries me that this may be a glimpse into our future world, if we're not careful. 

The plot twists and action kept me gripped but there was some gory and gruesome backstory as well. This does remind me of why I stepped back from dystopia because it is scary of how close our world can get to it lately. There are some authors like Suzanne Young, can pull in and hold you to it and make you think of the themes and what we can hopefully do to change them before this happens. As good as these books are I am not buying the rest are the themes are just too heavy to reread. I will finish this series because I hate to feel I left it unread when the characters are showing and sharing so much.
