this book and I had a rocky start. for some reason, i just can’t seem to get into mia p. mansala’s books in the starting but she redeems her writing in the last few chapters. somehow everything starts to tie in and you never expected it. once again, the family dynamics were absolutely amazingly written and the romance elements didn’t feel very forced. overall a 3.5/5 because this book just did not grasp my attention the way i would have liked it to.
