"After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis, son-in-law of Allie and Noah Calhoun (of The Notebook), is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage. Desperate to win back his wife, Jane's, heart, he must figure out how to make her fall in love with him... again. Despite the shining example of Allie and Noah's marriage, Wilson is himself a man unable to easily express his emotions. A successful estate attorney, he has provided well for his family, but now, with his daughter's upcoming wedding, he is forced to face the fact that he and Jane have grown apart and he wonders if she even loves him anymore. Wilson is sure of one thing--his love for his wife has only deepened and intensified over the years. Now, with the memories of his in-laws' magnificent fifty-year love affair as his guide, Wilson struggles to find his way back into the heart of the woman he adores." (From Amazon)

This is not a direct sequel to [b:The Notebook|15931|The Notebook (The Notebook, #1)|Nicholas Sparks|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1385738917s/15931.jpg|1498135] but features Allie and Noah's daughter and son-in-law. I found this novel to be predictable in a bad way. I only finished it because it was short and was part of The Notebook.

A disgrace to the notebook, cant believe Nicholas Sparks wrote a sequel which should have never been made for the notebook which is one of my favorite books ever.
Gave it 2 stars only because the highlight of this book was Noah himself, other characters are forgettable with no differences between them at all.
The story?Oh its about a wedding with a twist at the end which everyone will predict.

A great sequel to The Notebook, taken place many years later when Ali & Noah's children are grown. I liked how Mr. Sparks described the kind of life Alie & Noah led. The storyline is very good and has a little twist at the end!! I recommend this book!

I was disappointed in the beginning, I felt like part of the magic between noah and allie got lost, but somehow he made up for that during the progress of the story,
maybe not my favorite book (because of the beginning) but it didn't disappoint me as much after all ☺
