Such a quick, easy and enjoyable read. Cole and Owen were sweet, fun, grumpy and deserved each other. They fell into each others lives in the best way and they opened each other up to having happiness. I enjoyed how much they liked each other and their quirks without it feeling unrealistic.

There was minimal drama, and what drama there was was resolved quickly. The whole story really centred around the two of them, a few other characters were included but definitely not the focus.

Little prince

I somehow found myself thoroughly enjoying this book. I loved how grumpy Owen was but really he just wanted someone to love and care for who'd love him in return. It was a joy to watch Cole grow as a character and learn from his mistakes. These two falling in love was beautiful.

Low angst, high spice and a really great emotional arc.

This was just okay. Maybe I missed some detail because I was listening to the audiobook, but why didn't Cole just outright tell Own that he was attracted to men too, when Owen told him he was gay? Also, why didn't Cole just tell Owen who he really was (a famous tech billionaire)--I didn't understand why he had to keep that a secret. Because Cole keeping that a secret created a bigger drama in the end and hurt Owen more. I loved Owen's character, but I wasn't the biggest fan of Cole's character.

After reading another book by Kate Canterbury, I readlly wanted to check out her work with a queer couple.

I did enjoy the beginning of the book. But the discussion around queer identities, especially bisexuality, really through me off (see my content warnings).

I also absolutely hated the "miscommunication" stuff. I mean Cole wanted to talk about his life multiple times and Owen just did not want to. And then he freaks out when he finds out. Well then maybe listen before.

Also as a person who works in tech, what did Cole do? There is basically no information on it. He hates on some social media companies, and codes some stuff in the bedroom. Thats it. If he is the CEO of the company that basically "invented" the internet (
You're a fucking billionaire and you've invented, like, the entire internet, and you never thought any of that was worth mentioning?
) I would have really like to know a bit more about it...

Man overboard!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started this book, but I’m glad I did. Their playful banter, the way they purposely picked at each other and their flawless chemistry was so well written that I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end.

I loved it!
