Gosh where do I even begin?!? Alex and Luke are the epitome of heart warming, amazing, grinning from ear to ear couple goals!!!! I absolutely loved Alex’s vulnerability in this read. She’d been pushed down, broken and bruised but was determined to dust herself off and start anew. Then she caught the attention of an up and coming Hollywood Star and he proved how beautiful and wonderful she truly was.

Luke was INCREDIBLE!!!!! So patient, sweet and laid back. Not at all the stereotypical celebrity. He only had eyes for Alex and was determined to show her just how worthy she was of unconditional love and devotion. I swooned through the entire book with how compassionate and attentive he was, even when he only had a few minutes each day to communicate with Alex.

I can’t wait to see where their relationship goes in the next book!

I love the author’s writing style. It’s easy to read, flows well and the intimacy is so hot and steamy. There’s a nice balance of dialogue and inner thoughts and feelings. I also love that even though Alex is a single parent, the story focuses on her as a woman and her needs. She’s someone aside from being just a single mother.

I am a Hollywood romance stories addict, Harlow Layne delivered with a cherry on top. I am so glad I got this book. Alex and Luke have a chemistry off the charts, they are perfect for each other. I was dragged into this story and wasn't allowed to stop until the end, the emotions, their own insecurities and how they tackled them was just perfect, kudos for the amazing story line. I need the next book now!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am curious to see where this series goes.

I liked Alex and I understood why she was hesitant to begin anything with Alex after her last relationship and also due to her relationship with her ex and Mason’s dad, Decker. Alex was a smart woman who had some great friendships that allowed her to meet Luke and they had her back. She was an amazing mother and I loved that she really put Mason first and didn’t want anything to come back to hurt her custody of Mason.

Right away Luke was a stand up guy but I understood why Alex was worried with the women that Luke worked with and being so far away from him for such a long time. I hated that he had to keep his distance from Alex due to the press and I wondered how that would affect other things.
The funeral scenes were quite intense with the huge “fights” and I liked that Luke really stood up for Alex when she needed him too.

The scene that discussed nudity in the movies was very interesting and I liked that Luke was willing to do whatever it took to make sure Alex felt comfortable with what he was doing.

The end was interesting with Luke’s purchase and I am curious to see where the book goes and whether or not Alex will be willing to accept!!

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am glad that I did. The story flows well and I found it to be an easy and enjoyable read.
Alex has had her fair share of heartbreak in her life and is focused on her son and herself. Luke is an actor who is very private and likes to keep to himself. When they first meet the attraction is instant. I love how they manage to get to know each other, despite the long distance and Luke's very hectic schedule, I think it makes them both stronger and more able to trust each other.
You cant help but love both Alex and Luke and find yourself hoping that the relationship works. I would recommend the book and looking forward to the next in the series.
