I read some reviews and comments around the web concerning this volume and the last one before I read them (I intended to read them anyway, but I was just curious), and I regret it, because of the power of suggestion---I'm now seeing giant everywhere! They actually happen to be tentacles, but come on! It's not like the look like octopi tentacles with suckers or something. You'd have to be pretty dense not to see the suggestiveness of it. Ugh!!!! I'm so creeped out right now O.o

These advanced stories of Sidonia caught my interest more than the previous ones. Although the flaws mentioned earlier (too similar to Neon Genesis Evangelion, very similar characters...) seem still valid.
