This is a hard review to write, because I have no idea what the fuck was going on in this book, and yet, I sorta enjoyed it. It reads like a comic done by a 6 year old-- vaguely coherent, slightly crude, wildly imaginative, and weirdly sexual. It reads, in fact, like He-Man style world building, but with a strange Asian Philosophical bent and filtered through a pre-pubescent boy.

This is one of the better examples of freewheeling, childlike comics unrestricted by standard story structure or art style. It's often genuinely funny, and always original. However, I'd appreciate about 20% more linear/traditional storytelling; as it is, I'm not sure it can hold my attention for more than 40 or so pages.
